When he gets the last one, he offers me some, but I decline because I have plans after to eat with my friends.

So at this point, I have had one coffee, and he's had six appetizers and a coffee. He looks at me and says, 'Aren't we going to split it? He's not laughing, so I realize he's not kidding. I tell him I'm not paying since I didn't eat anything. He says, 'So? That was your decision. He started yelling in the restaurant, saying all these insults about me and how sad that makes him 'cause I seemed nice and he had high hopes for us. I could hear him still yelling when I was outside.

I was at my cousin's bridal party, and a woman I hardly knew kept asking me what was happening in my life. My response was 'I bought cats yesterday' 'cause I actually had. Joe [my now-boyfriend] popped up, and she said, 'Can I swipe him for you?

He's handsome. It went pretty well, but I was getting a weird vibe, so I decided to go home. Immediately after I left, I noticed a car following me, so I started getting really nervous. When I arrived, the car was still following me, so I quickly got out of my car and ran into my friend's house.

We saw the car drive by, so we thought that we were good, but we heard knocking at the door about five minutes later. My friend opened it while I stood behind him, holding a knife. When he opened it, there stood the guy I had just gone on a date with, holding an earring in his hand.

He explained that he was just trying to return it because it looked expensive. Later that night, I realized that I had both earrings in and that this wasn't my earring.

I haven't spoken to him since that night, and I haven't used Tinder either. The karaoke bar was closed, so we went to a beer spot next door. I thought it was a nice first date, but she went on vacation after that night, and we lost touch. We both end up deleting Tinder and rejoining about a year later and eventually match. I've since had life-saving surgery, and you can see the scars in one of my pictures.

She messages me, saying, 'Looks like you could use a doctor in your life. I respond, reminding her that we had a date before, and she says, 'Since you've had a second chance at life, would you give me another chance with a second date?

Smoothest pick-up line I had ever heard. We've been inseparable since. We've traveled to another country together, exchanged house keys, and visited each other's families for Thanksgiving. We're only roughly five months in, but we already know this is serious.

As they say, when you know, you know. He seemed cool, so I gave him my number, and we decided to go out for coffee the week before Christmas. It was a nice date, but I wasn't super pressed to see him again. So I was super surprised when he asked to see me two days later, right when I was heading home for Christmas.

I declined and told him I'd hit him up when I was back in town. Over the holidays, this man kept texting me, asking when I would be back in town so we could go out again, and after one coffee date, I wasn't feeling the desperation. Trying not to be rude, I started texting back less and less and let on that I didn't want to see him again when I did get back. Of course, for some strange reason, this causes him to start friending me on all social media, sending me multiple messages a day on multiple platforms, and even calling me five times in one day, each of which I ignored.

Finally, he sends flowers to the school I teach at, which was super creepy because I had never told him the specific school. I was so freaked out and messaged him and told him to leave me alone. Then he proceeds to send me a passive-aggressive message about how he was a good guy and was going to block me on all social media!

Like he wasn't the one stalking me?! In any case, he's blocked; I'm glad I didn't meet up with him again, and I haven't met up with anyone from Tinder in a while.

I literally went on a date each night. It was mostly bland, and nothing too exciting came from it. Then I matched with a cute guy from an hour away. We messaged extensively for about a week before meeting up. For our first date, we had dinner, walked around a casino, then saw 50 Shades of Grey. It was a beyond-awesome date. When I got home, I promptly canceled all future dates with others I had planned. After our second date, we moved pretty quickly from that point. We live together and have the world's weirdest cat.

We've been together for almost two years and have been engaged for nearly a year. We decided to finally hang out, but he said I had to pick him up since he didn't have a car that should've been my first clue. I went to pick him up, and the first thing he does when he gets in the car is pat my belly and say, 'A little too much beer, yeah? You're gonna have to lose that if we date.

The app always made it easy to spot the guys who were worth getting to know, and easy to tell which guys were there strictly for hookups. I met my last boyfriend on Tinder, and we ended up dating for about nine months. After we broke up, I met my current boyfriend, and we are celebrating our two-year anniversary tonight! However, something just kept telling me there was something off about him.

He kept getting really pushy about meeting up at places I was not comfortable with. I finally decided to unmatch him. Fast-forward about a month, and I'm at work. I happen to be a corrections officer at the regional jail in my area. I am working one of the male units, and an inmate walks up to my desk and says he knows me. After interviewing him, it turns out it's the guy I matched with and decided not to meet. It turns out he is in on kidnapping charges.

Needless to say, I changed units and told my supervisors immediately. We matched on December 23rd last year while I was at my mom's house for Christmas. I jokingly asked he if she would come with me to Christmas Eve Mass the following day with my mom and me, and she agreed! She met me at my house and brought my mom a present. We went to church and came back to the house, where she helped me decorate the tree, and then we watched Home Alone after. Still one of my favorite days. And just somewhere kind of on the other side of town, I spend all day in this neighborhood.

During the date he talked almost exclusively about his sexual fetishes. The weirdest was when I was a college junior and dated a girl that was a classmate. He took me to a supermarket. I was talking to dude on Tinder and decided to meet up with him for coffee one day. He only talked in impersonations of WWE wrestlers and then asked me to go to Wrestlemania with him and his entire family later that night. I went on a date with a girl I met online. All throughout the date she kept looking over at me and then laughing, but not really in a mean way.

After a while I called her out on it and she basically said, sorry but you really look like my brother. Then she shows me a picture and low and behold, he looks more like my brother than hers. Met someone online and we decided to meet in person for a date. There was no second date. In the middle of dinner at a restaurant she got quiet and distracted. I asked if she was feeling okay. Apparently one of the voices told her I was a horrible person and she pulled a steak knife on me.

A customer was able to talk to her, and got her to put the knife down. The police were called, and she was arrested. I went on a date with a girl to a bar and grill. The girl just got set free from a bad relationship. The bartender was her uncle, the server was her sister, and her fresh ex-boyfriend was there on a date with another guy. It was supposed to be a coffee date.

I got there, on time, and he had already ordered and drank his coffee. I went up to get mine, he just stared at me from the table while I was ordering.

When I tried to leave, he insisted that I stay. Weird guy. I did end up going on a second date with him, but it was just as awkward. Called it quits after that. In college, I went on a date with a dude who got all excited that we were on the same psychiatric medication.

It was… different. Met a girl at a coffee shop for a blind date in the early s. We ordered, sat down, and started talking the usual stuff about ourselves. Things took a turn once we reached the employment portion of the conversation. Once I said that I was an animator she told me it was childish and left. She spent the whole date on her tablet and phone, even though she asked me out.

She is still single, she has not learnt. Matched with a girl on a dating app who seemed super chill and sweet. Asked her out and we made plans to get dinner at a local burger joint. We meet and after introductions she spent an entire hour bitching about how much her life sucks, how much she hates school, how annoying her managers at work are, how crazy her family is, etc etc.

Felt like I had been emotionally catfished. Thankfully never heard from her again. Went on a date with a girl who revealed that her hobby was buying dead little mice, doing taxidermy on them and then dressing them up in tiny little metal battle armor and swords to stage historical battles… using dead mice… that she bought online.

Told a girl I was into granola environmental shit. Anyway… She kept talking up how incredible her job was and that she taught a bunch of kids about environmental issues and how amazing this job was. Basically begging me to come check it out. So we picked a day and I took the day off from work.

It had been a while since we saw each other so she decided it would be fun to send me real kinky texts about fun places we could sneak off to around her work as it was her fantasy. I was down, and I was getting in the mood myself.

there were about 20 kids and teachers right there! Therefore you walked around the dirtier you felt, which in a way was not surprising. I still had the worst blue balls in my life which in itself was questionable. Went on a first date where someone asked me why I cut my hair so short. He won, and I never saw him again.

My first dating app date. Starts off pretty good, we barely put in our dinner order and her phone starts blowing up. Her ex was drunk and causing a scene outside her apt.

Her ex kept calling, then her roommate started and then the landlord calls threatening to call the police. We get our food to go and I take her back to her apt. Long story short, both her and her ex are crying messes, she goes inside, leaves me outside with crying drunk ex who starts telling me all about how he messed their relationship.

My second best story is this one: I was set up with a guy and we met a local restaurant for dinner.

When I pulled up, he looked over my car and asked me how much I paid for it. I told him that I got a good deal and laughed. He WOULD NOT DROP IT. Over appetizers, he DEMANDED to know how much I paid for the car.

So I gave him an "about this much" answer. And he told me that one of the first things I was going to do was return the car because I had no business driving a car that nice or that expensive unless I was a whore that wanted to attract to attention keep in mind, I drive a grey Chevy. Not flashy, not extravagant. Then he told me all of the other ways that I would be submitting to him including calling in sick from my job when he needed me with him. He followed me outside, red-faced and screaming at me to get back in there.

I got in my fancy car and drove off. So I have this date with a hot girl I met and I say I´ll pick her up at six. She dolled heself up to the n-th degree, makeup, smokey eyes, lipstick, the works and I turn up on my motorbike.

Half an hour later she takes of the helmet and looks like that scene in Conan where they have the face paint on. I also accidently forgot my wallet and she had to pay for the fuel. We got married a year later. This happened many years ago.

Knew a guy in school, he called me up and asked if I wanted to go to a party. He picked me up and as we walked in his back door, he tried to usher me into his bedroom for the "party". I made a beeline into the living room and saw one person there. His roommate was sitting on the couch in a beat up poncho, drinking coffee. I sat and talked to him for 6 hrs. at one point he said to me " I could marry you. The coffee drinking roommate and I have been married for almost 40 years now.
