Even setting aside the main conceit dating Sans it's a wonderful love letter to Undertale in and of itself! It manages to pack so much into its runtime, and I find myself replaying it every so often because it has the same cozy feeling I loved from Undertale.
Seeing and interacting with the other characters feels like coming home, a happy little glimpse into their lives past Undertale's end. I especially adore the roleplaying scene with Alphys and Undyne; it's hilarious while also feeling warm and affectionate, with all the love going around everyone, between the MC's pining and Undyne and Alphys's own relationship!
Every character was incredibly true to themselves, up to all their quirks and mannerisms, and it makes every part of this game such a delight to read. I can't skip over the writing of the main draw either. The way the relationship with Sans is built over multiple RESETs is so charming and feels so true, with the hints of his character we got in the original game; of course he wouldn't be that easy of a nut to crack, even with his friendly attitude. More than that, the moments between him and the MC are written with such genuine emotion and care that it never fails to get me, no matter how many times I replay the game.
Catch me in the club crying over the quiet wonder perfectly captured in the scene where he sees MC's soul even after I've read it for the th time in a row!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for bringing this project to life and releasing it into the world.
I'm so glad that the emotions reached you, both the Sans and non-Sans scenes! And it makes me so happy to know it was felt!
I'm so glad you were able to feel the silent wonder in the SOUL reveal scene! I wanted to have it feel like a moment that was so precious, but so fragile even a whisper could shatter it. That was one of my favorite scenes to write : Then again, I guess I had many scenes that were my favorite to write LOL. Hello Cho I return because I took another replay through the game recently and I think you'd enjoy my tale of the unintentional bonus pinch of pain I experienced when I decided to finally tackle the No Love route.
Posting it down here instead of in a new comment to hide it better, but just in case! For No Love route I changed the name because on some level I am still a weenie , and the thing is.
When I did this. I managed to skip over Flowey's whole barb about it in the beginning. So I went through the ENTIRE ROUTE having no idea that it hadn't truly mattered, which made Sans saying the first name I input instead of the name I put in for that specific playthrough at the end hit WAY HARDER sdhgfjsdg. It truly was the most karmic of punishments and I'm laughing thinking about it even now!! Hi there!! It's always nice to see you here! I'm always excited to hear about everyone's playthroughs!
Ohohohoho no no you're not a weenie! But yes, I kinda banked on majority of people playing through True Love before No Love. So I wanted to have Sans only say your name from the True Love playthrough.
As a little This was so good one of the best games I've ever played. I laughed lots of times and even teared up.
As a young teen who has played only one visual novel in her life this was a masterpiece I'm so happy I played and laughed and cried and the music was really good too, the game gave me so many feelings I would have around a real crush it was quite fun lol. I have so many snapshots of this game now thank you. I'm really happy that you enjoyed the VN! I'm glad the emotions reached you!
And I'm flattered that you rated it infinity out of ten!! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I just finished playing this game and I am honestly in such awe! This game left me so emotional I swear lolol. I appreciate the efforts you put in it as well, and genuinely like to thank you for the amount of fun I had playing it! Everything about this game has been magnificently executed!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the VN and that the emotions reached you! Thank you so much for playing and for your kind words! Hello~ I can believe I only discovered this game now!
I just kept resetting until I was able to go with Sans finally , but I really liked it! more like fangirling over a fangame but anyway Um I also saw in the FAQ that you were not currently planning to translate the game, but I happen to be a student from a French Master degree specialised in technical translation and writing. We work on volunteer translation projets normally charity projets to gain experience. I'm happy you enjoyed it! And don't be sorry! I always love reading long reviews or fangirling.
And regarding the translation, thank you so much for offering! That means a lot! I'm going to see if I can clean up my code for translations. If it works out, I'll definitely reach out!
i have no idea why i enjoyed the game so much that i played this w my friends to see them suffer while voicing the characters, their throats were always scarred after voicing papyrus lmfao weak. I'm glad you enjoyed it that much! Voice acting with friends is always a lot of fun. Hope you all had fun, regardless! EYO SPOLIERS AHEAD SO LIKE DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED YET Crying, shitting, crying even more THE FIRST ROUTE I EVER GOT WAS THE TRUE LOVE ENDING PRETTY SURE WHICH MADE ME CRY A LOT NGL WITH YOU I really love the mechanics of this game it really did suprize me a lot on how the resets would work BUT OH BOY WHEN I DECIDED TO DO THE SECRET ENDING WITH GOING ON A DATE WITH PAPYRUS RIGHT AFTER I JUST FINISHED THE SO CALLED TRUE LOVE ENDING IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD I JUST KNEW "Sans will still remember the last timeline won't he?
I KEEP ON REPEATING THE SAME THING BUT LITERAL TEARS, THE MOMENT I REALIZED, just c r i e s. MaN, game be making me sob at like 1am in the morning lMAO, was literally physically slamming my hands on my table multiple times playing through this it would be amusing to watch.
I don't have the heart to do the genocide run but all in all this is s great game guys, really just, w o w I'm genuinely speechless. I think it's the fact that flowey can and will comment about your actions throughout the playthroughs, resets, runs, that give me the utter chills, it's because floewey k n o w s.
I'm glad the emotions reached you on that part! It means the scene did its job. Your assumption is correct. And we're not the only one that feels it. Sans feels it, too. And he realizes that, despite solidifying that bond in a previous timeline you decided not to reunite with him as a SOULmate. Of course, he's happy for his brother and he's happy for the player.
I would've loved to see that reaction, honestly LOL It always makes me so happy to know that people get so into the story that they have to flail or slam their hands on the table. And, of course, Flowey wouldn't be Flowey if there wasn't a comment or two or twenty about your playthroughs.
I was unsure on how I would feel about this game when I first started it, but my uncertainty was quickly put to rest once I fully embraced the experience. Not only was it fun to interact with Sans, but I highly enjoyed interacting with the other characters as well. Once the deeper parts of the story began to unfold I was completely and utterly hooked on it, and I actually found myself being touched by some of the scenes. I even started to cry once I made my promise, 'cause I know I won't be able to break it.
Even going back for a quick check once I finished the game with the "True Love" ending had me in tears as Sans spoke to me; reassuring me. I couldn't possibly take away that good ending from him, no matter how curious I am about the rest of the game. I'll let him be happy. Thank you for making this wonderful game.
You've definitely made me very happy for its existence, and your attention to detail certainly made it a wonderful experience. Hopefully my gratitude is successfully sent from me, to you.
Much love! I'm glad that you enjoyed the experience and that the emotions reached you! I hoped to send everyone through an emotional journey with this VN. Just knowing that at least one person felt even a tiny sample of the emotions I put into this, that's honestly more than I could ever ask for.
This is such a delightful gem of a game! You really caught the spirit of Undertale. I loved all the little details included and the attention paid to the supporting characters. One of my very favorite moments was Toriel's reassurance after the player confesses their nightmare - so touching! Like Undertale, the thing that takes the most determination with this game is putting it down after a happy ending. Thank you so much for playing!! I'm glad you could feel the Undertale spirit!
That's something I really strived for! And the Act Two Toriel scenes were one of my favorite moments, too. I loved it so much.
I wasn't able to go through the Genocide route in Undertale -I was feeling sooo guilty when I tried, I swear It's so difficult for me to be mean in games XD -but somehow I did it for your game, I was too damn curious.
And it was so good. I mean, yeah I may have possibly been on the verge of crying a little in the end of the second True love Run, who knows, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PROOF OKAY. It hit hard, guiltiness was all over my kokoro and it's exactly why you have done a wonderful job! Also I'm sorry if I made any mistakes with my english ~.
Thank you for playing and for commenting! Your English is perfect! And I'm so happy you could sense the passion I poured into it. It took me 2 years to make this visual novel! I downloaded it. I played it. I got the True Love route. I love it. I love you for making it. Oh my god. I'm crying about it and I love it. I love you. Thank you. Thank you so much.
I made an account just for this. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it and that the emotions reached you! And it means a lot that you made an account just to comment! Stay determined 🤍. I've never seen a fan game that goes to this extent and I didn't expect it at all when getting into it so I was very scared to find out just how much impact my decisions made I never played genocide in Undertale cus I have big problems with consequences like these in games so I only watch playthroughs cus I'm way too curious for my own good OTL.
I would've liked a bigger warning of just how impactful the choices are but I also have myself to blame for not keeping as open a mind when playing these types of games as I will in the future. I don't regret playing through every single route at all but I'm gonna need to get to my next therapy session FAST now kjsfhskjdfhksjdg. Thank you for all the hard work you put into it, I bet it's given a lot of people a really enjoyable experience like it has me and it's so thurough it feels like a stand-alone game!!
which is INSANE with it being FREE!!! It's clear how much you care about the project and gave it your all and I'm really happy to have gotten to experience something like this!!! Thank you so much!! I'm sorry that a certain part caught you off guard. But I'm very happy that you enjoyed the experience all the same! I just wanted to share this story and my love for the characters.
And I'm always so happy to see others have enjoyed it so much! Thank you again for playing and for taking the time to share your thoughts! Take care and stay determined! Hey so i finished the genocide route, did the deal and stuff. Is there a way to get rid of chara's control of the players soul or no?
I regret it. I just finished the papyrus route and it's so spot on! and so cute! I love papyrus so much and this made my heart melt in all the best ways. DATING START! A downloadable visual novel. I have a twitter account soo.. Perhaps more than any other revolution in communication, the use of the Web for dating makes sense. Not only does the Web allow us to find people in our area, but it allows us to see, hear learn a great deal about them.
With images, audio and databases of personal data, the Web is not just a new way to meet others, but an incredibly efficient one. However, that stigma is slowly lifting. As more and more people meet their significant others online, the stigma against it is deteriorating. As that happens, more and more individuals will be willing to try it, making it both more common and even more useful.
The Internet was being used for dating almost from day one. Even before the Web itself was created, bulletin board services and newsgroups played host to a variety of Internet dating activities, many of them unintended.
In addition to newsgroups and forums created for posting of personal ads, similar to what was going on in newspapers at the time, locals were meeting in city-oriented rooms and people with similar interests were meeting and becoming attached in forums of similar interest. Much of this was spurred on by the Internet service providers themselves. Services such as Prodigy and America Online offered chat rooms and forums for singles and heavily advertised these features.
Because of this, even before the Web became widely used, the Internet had a robust, if technically limited, dating culture. The first major Internet dating Web site is widely held to be the combination of kiss. com and match. com, which were both registered by the same person in and respectively.
However, from there, the market quickly exploded. By there were 16 dating Web sites listed in Yahoo! com and OneandOnly. com had already started up.
Riding on a wave of growing public acceptance, Match. com were acquired by Ticketmaster Online-Citysearch for an undisclosed sum. This legitimacy caused the major Internet players, including both Yahoo! During the dot-com boom of the late 90s and early s, there were several other high-profile dating site acquisitions.
However, for dating sites, the change came more from the launch of Friendster and Myspace in
